experimental design

My experimental design is "People with chickens are more healthy and in shape"

My hypothesis is that they are because they have to go outside and pick up food which helps them get stronger.

The dependent variable is the chickens

The independent variable is the health and shape.

My experience on the field trip

My favorite thing about the field trip was the battleship and exploring it. I saw old people talking and watching t.v. They were funny! The coast guard ship was stinky!

Learning targets home report

Summarize the chararistics of a mixture recognizing solution as mixtuere I give myself a 3.8. the reason I think I am a 3.8 because I can tell the color the smell and the taste if i can taste it.

Use the processes of filtration, sifting, magnetic attraction, evaporation, chromatography, and floatation to separate mixtures. I think i am a 3.8 because I know with the filter I can seperate things like salt from water. Also I can evaporate salt from water by leaving it by a window.

Explain how the solute and the solvent in a solution determine the concentration. I know that the solute is what dissolves into the solvent which is the substance that the solute dissolves into.

Explain how temperature change, particle size, and stirring affect the rate of dissolving.

mixtures and solutions

  1. A mixture is when you mix 2 or more substances. A solution is when an ingredient dissolves inside another substance.
  2. All mixtures are not solutions. All solutions are mixtures.
  3. The solute is the ingredient dissolves in a mixture and the solvent is what it the ingredient dissolves in.
    5. when you say a solion is saturted that means that it can't dissolve anymore.
