Micheal told Mr. Gibbs that his father was coming home. But he really wasn't. So, his friend's uncle said that he could probobly act like Micheal's father. So, they got ready for Mr. Gibbs to come at Micheal's house tomorrow, and went to the baseball game. After the game, Micheal went to Mrs. C's house and helped carry the groceries. Then she invited him inside for some ice tea. She turned on the T.V. and watched Opera. Then they played the game that they usually played when Micheal had a bad day. "I don't feel the need to imagine it's going to happen, because it's not" Micheal said. "I'll start you off," Mrs. C said. "You just found your birth certificate, you found out your father isn't dead-" "Thats enough for today," Micheal interupted. Then he walked out of her house wondering what he should do.

On Friday, May 9, we went on a charter bus to Charleston, South Carolina for a field trip. We learned about the ships that were used in wars, or how they were made, or who made them, and things like that. 1 of the things I learned there was that tiny little plankton that made up this type of jellifish that float up on the surface, that are called man-o-war. I had alot of fun the whole field trip. It was fun, and educating.

Micheal is 12 years old and when he threw that baseball at the criminal, everybody was so impressed, they were still talking about it monthes later!

Today we read more of the book Heat and Micheal got hit in he head by Justin with a fast ball at a baseball game. Micheal was practically knocked-out and Micheal thought he died. He was dreaming about some stuff and he thought no way he could stil be thinking about stuff if he just got hit in the head by a fast ball. Then he wanted pay back so he threw his really really fast balls just to strike him out.

Today in Heat Micheal played his weirdest game of catch probobly in his whole life. He tried to follow her home, but his friends told him that they all promised they would all go to McDonalds. But Micheal didn't want to come. He wanted to follow the girl home. But his friends realy wanted him to come. So he had to go. His mom was going there anyways.

I think the author's message is to not judge people by their cover. People shouldn't make fun of others even if they do have a bad pitch. or whatever the problem may be. I think that because those kids were making fun of Micheal at the field of his baseball skills.

Today we started a new book called Heat. In the beginning, a boy named Ramon stole a green purse from a lady. The cops tried to chase him, but they would need a olympic sprinter to catch him.

I think that Leo made the right choice to go with his membership because school should always come first before other stuff. So Since he chose the membership instead of Stargirl, I think he made the right choice.

Leo and stargirl went to a store to buy night clothes for each of them. Then Leo went to Stargirl's house to eat some dinner to have meatloaf. Stargirl had to eat tofuloaf since she was a vegetarian. Then they both went on the porch and Stargirl showed her the rocks she had. She said that however many rocks is in there is how happy she is. If she's happy, she adds a pebble. If she's sad, She takes out a pebble.
