Today in class we started a new book called Heat. A boy named Ramon stole a hulk-green purse and got caught by the police. When Ramon was running across the baseball field he saw a boy named Micheal through a baseball and hit him the head and knocked him out. When Poppy, his dad, came and saw Micheal throwing everybody kept telling him how good he can throw and telling him that he should be a baseball player.

Today in Heat the mysterious girl came back and her and Micheal played catch. Then they started to play baseball game. Then Micheal bet Manny he couldn't put the ball in play. They bet dinner at McDonald's. The girl struck Manny out.

In this part Mr. Lima asked Michael, Carlos,Mrs. Cora, and Poppie to do a news report about Michael getting Mrs.Cora's purse back from Ramon, the purse stealer.

Now in this part of the book Manny found out that Ellie is El Grande's daughter.

Today in the book Mr. Gibbs talked to Michael about his father and where he is and Michael tells him a bunch of lies. Then mr. Gibbs asked about Michael's uncle and Michael lies about that too. Next Mr. Gibbs said that he wanted to meat his uncle. Michael told Manny and Carlos about what he said and Manny said that he has an uncle named Uncle Timo.

In this part of the book Michael sees Ellie and confronts her that he knows that she is El Grande's daughter. Then Michael went to Mrs. Cora's house and talked to her about Ellie. 

I think that the author's message is that if you keep trying you will succeed.

I think that Leo made the wrong choice because the only reason he chose his friends over Stargirl is so that his friends would like him, and if he chose Stargirl then his friends probably wouldn't want to be Leo's friend ever again.

1. Define mixture and solution?

A mixture is when two or more substances are being mixed together.

A Solution is a special kind of mixture but when one of the substances dissolves. 

2. Are all mixtures solutions? Are all solutions mixtures.

All solutions are mixtures but, not all mixtures are solutions.

5. Explain what it means when we say a solution is saturated.

When you say that a soution is saturated that means that you can't dissolve anymore of the solute into the solvent.

6. How do you know that a solution is saturated.

You will know when no more of the solute will dissolve.
