Summarize the characteristics of a mixture, recognizing a solutions as a kind of mixture. In this learning target I feel pretty good and I would probably be at a 2.9 because I feel good about it but I get confused sometimes.

Use the processes of filtration, sifting, magnetic attraction, evaporation, chromatography, and floatation to separate mixtures In this learning target I feel great about this and I would grade myself to be a 3.5 because I could show someone how to do this.

Explain how the solute and solvent in a solution determine concentration. In this learning target I feel great I would be at a 4 because I can tell how the solute and solvent can determine caoncentration.

Explain how temperature change, particle size, and stirring affect the rate of dissolving. In this learning target I feel great and i would score myself as a 3.5 because I understand this target well and i can demonstrate it.

·       Solubility is the ability for some thing dissolve.

·       Saturation is the amount of substance that is able to dissolve.

·       Some substances dissolve at different rates than others.

·       One that has dissolved all it can hold is called a saturated solution.

·       An unsaturated solution has room for more solute particles.

I really don't understand this book. This book is kind of good and I think some of theses things are not true. Some of this book is very funny. I like this book but, it is hard to understand. That is all about this book. Well I like this book now. It is much better than I thought. This book just got interesting and I kind of understand it. That is what happened in the book today.

Stargirl is on a cheerleading team now. Someone's grandfather died and Stargirl showed up at the funeral. At their house Stargirl was there for the little get together. The girl's mom saw Stargirl and told her to leave. Then a boy ran into a tree when he was on his bike. He broke his leg and had a blood clot. He had to be airlifted to a children's hospital in Phoenix. Stargirl was at their little party for the boy who came back and she bought him a new bike. A couple days later the bike was in the trash. Leo and Kevin asked Stargirl if she wanted to be on their show called Hotseat. Stargirl said yes and they planned it to be on February 13 so they will have plenty of time to get ready for her interview. That is all about the book Stargirl By: Jerry Spinelli.

I know Leo is still going to like Stargirl even though no one likes her. This book is really good. I love this book. That is all about this book today.

Today Stargirl and Leo went to the mall and look at some people. Stargirl doesn't like change so she just kept leaving her change everywhere. She is a vegetarian. She had tofogh. She kissed Leo and he loved that, OH. That is all that happened today.

We finished Stargirl and Leo chooses membership in his peer group over his affection for Stargirl. She changed and so Leo didn't understand WHO she was anymore so say he made right choice because I would rather have lots of people as my freinds than have one person as my freind. Then again if she changed for him then I say he made the wrong choice if he really likes this girl he blow he chance with her.   This book was really good. Today in the book Joey's class went on a field trip to the Amish city. He smelled a pie and wanted it but, his teacher would not give it to him. She gave him an apple with cinnamon. He put it in his back pocket. Then his teacher told him to go sit in the bus, he didn't go to the bus instead he went to go get the pie. He ate the whole pie and then he climbed up this weird thing. Everyone saw him up there and then he fell on some hay and he broke his ankle. That is what happened in the book today.

Today in the book Joey got out of class and he saw this good character program and then at recess he was making bumper stickers that said " "Hate is not a value family". Then when the class came in he ran up to Mrs.Maxy's desk and grabbed her scissors when she wasn't looking. He started to run back to the back when, he tripped over his bunny ear slipper and chipped a part of Maria's noise. He was was suspended and has to go to a special class for 6 weeks. He also got a chihuahua. That is what happened today in the book we are reading.

Today in the book Joey's first day of the special education class. He was asked all kinds of questions and when he was there he called his mom and she never answered. He thought his mom was taken away from him. When he first got on the bus, the bus driver thought he was a foster kid and that is when he thought his mom was going to be taken away. After Joey's first day, his teacher came and gave him his homework. She told him that he is suppose to do his homework everyday and that she will come pick it up after school is done for the day. He told Mrs.Maxy that he was going to get a dog and Mrs.Maxy said that that should be fun for him. That is all that happened in the book today.

    Today we finished the book. At the end Joey got a dashound and chihuahua mix. Then he went back to school and his first day back he said the pleage of alligiance and then he went back to the special eds room and he got a book and sat down and read the book. His medicne really works. He can sit still now and he can control himself. He named his dog Pablo. He has to be in the special eds room for a week to see if he can behave and if he can be safe around everyone. That is how Joey Pigza Swallowed the Key ended.
