    My experimental design is would carrots grow better if you grew them in a green house.

Hypothesis- The carrots in the green house would grow better because you could control the amount of water it needs.

Independent variable- Would carrots grow better if you grew them in a green house.

dependent variable- Grow a carrot in a green house.

Plan- Get two carrots grow one in the green house and one outside. Then let them grow for the same amount of time.       

     Summarizing the characteristics of a mixture, recognizing a solution as a kind of mixture. I fell like I'm at a 2.8 because I know what a solution is and a mixture but I might have forgot a few things.

     Use the processes of filtration, sifting, magnetic attraction, evaporation chromatography, and flotation to separate mixtures I am a 2.7 because we didn't talk about it that much.

     Explain how the solute and the solvent in a solution determine the concentration probably a 3 because I got it pretty good.

     Explain how temperature change, particle size, and stirring affect the rate of dissolving I'm a 3.3 because we did a lot of that and I fell like I got it pretty good.    

1. Mixtures and solutions are two substances that can be mixed together two form one substance.

2. Not all mixtures are solutions because some substances cant dissolve a solvent.

3.Solvents are substances like water solutes are substances like salt.

5. What it means when you say a solution is saturated is when the solute can not dissolve any more.

6. You can tell when a solution is saturated when you shake your solution and still see your solute in the solvent.  

    I don't really like the book Star Girl. I just can't get into it. To me it is kinda of boring but maybe it might get better. Well we just read some more of Star Girl and to me it is still weird but they just went to this guy named Archie. He said that he had the Star Girl as a student before and Archie told Leo and Kevin that she had other weird names too. Today we read some more of Star Girl and Star Girl is now on the cheer leading team she cheered the last football game and the basketball team. Leo and Kevin got Stargirl on the show the hotseat. Some family's Grandpa died and Stargirl showed up and the mom kicked her out. Then this boy fell off his bike and got a blood clot and when he came home there was a new bike. On the bulletin board was Stargirl's pledge of allegiances and it was not normal.

   Well now Stargirl and leo like eachother. Stargirl got kicked off the cheerleading team. Almost everybody at the school doesn't like her because she cheered for the other team. Now Leo found out that Stargirl was the one who gave him the porkypine necktie at the beginning of the book. In Stargirl Today Leo got to meet Stargirl's parents and they all had dinner everybody had meat loaf except Stargirl she is a vegetarian. Now we finished Stargirl and I am going to tell you what happened. Well Stargirl tried acting normal like everybody else in the school and still nobody liked her. Then she tried wining some state contest to try and get popular. When the contest was over she won but still nobody liked her. After that she went back to her regular self. The way she gets popular is at the school dance and she gets everybody doing the bunny hop. 

   Let me tell you my opinion about what Leo did. Well I would have probably made the same decision as Leo because it's one person against all kind of people.
