Greatest Common Factor - Accelerated Math

In order for us to move forward we have to have a better grasp of putting fractions in simplest form. The primary skill for being able to put fractions into simplest form is to find the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) for the numerator and denominator. Therefore, it is essential that you are able to fluently find the GCF of two numbers.

Please watch the following tutorial on Finding the GCF

Now please do some practice problems on page 190 of your math book (#10, 12, 16, 17, 18, 22, 24). When you finish please see me about checking your answers. When you have finished checking your answers with me I would like you to choose one problem for each section and explain in a blog entry how you found the GCF for the two numbers. Use Keyword: gcf

Please feel free to refer back to the tutorial as much as necessary or ask for assistance.
